[My personal view on the US military and Israeli attack on Iran]
Peace does not mean the absence of war. Nor does it mean non-aggression or the protection of Article 9 of the Constitution.
Peace is a state in which people can enjoy freedom and democracy as sovereigns, realizing #lifewithoutfear, #lifewithoutwant, and #humandignity.
Peacekeeping refers to the hard work of shedding blood and sweat to eradicate tyranny, slavery, oppression, intolerance, and poverty from the earth.
21st century humanity will use state power to further its own welfare through a parliament made up of its freely chosen representatives.
People have the right to overthrow all governments and powers that violate this principle.
In this spirit, I support the right of the Iranian people to escape the terror of the Islamic Republic and regain their human dignity.
I also support the international community, including the United States and Israel, in providing assistance to the Iranian people.
However, I believe that the unilateral use of force initiated by the United States and Israel should be held accountable until the Iranian people win, and that it must continue as long as the Islamic Republic continues to use force to coerce the people. Abandoning it midway is unacceptable.
If force had been used without this resolve, it would be seen as weighing the lives of the Iranian people against the interests of the security of the United States and Israel, and would be criticized for disregarding the former.
This is especially true if one claims to put "America First."
